Coaching Philosophy
One of the "great truths" of teaching baseball is that the coach must be patient
in teaching the player. Lack of patience by coaches and parents can be a
great hindrance in how quickly a player learns a skill.
The learning of baseball skills and the mastering of the many techniques needed
in baseball often require a lot of work, and sometimes that work involves a lot
of "dull repetition". Your most difficult job at the youth level is to
balance the work eneded to improve with the fun of playing.
You are coaching baseball players, not baseball!! All decisions that you
make during a game revolve around who is to do it more than what is to be
done. The abilities of the players involved must be considered as
strongly as or even more so than the game situation.

"Baseball Coaches Academy is a great place. As a player I learned a lot from coach Piergustavo, it is the ideal place to learn the game and train in the off-season.
."
JP Pyne, Head coach Daniel Webster College

Mission Statement
We will always be committed to proper training and teaching of baseball
skills. It is our goal that all our players leave our programs better
players than when they came in. Our players will understand that baseball
is not only the greatest game in the world, but also a lot of fun. All
our instructors are teachers first, coaches second. We will always
emphasize the teaching of proper mechanics and fundamentals and never try to
sell an empty philosophy.
